Culture of Corruption: Obama and His Team of Tax Cheats, Crooks, and CroniesReviewsDon't say we haven't been warned. The Chicago way. I know I didn't sign up for this. An AMAZING compilation of information on the modern Chicago political machine! The presentation is relentless and somewhat (to very) depressing if you ever hoped for a change from dirty-dealing, backroom political corruption. Scary, disheartening, shocking ... all of these. Also highly recommended - unless you prefer a delusional perspective. I think this book is great. Of course I'm biased: it leans heavily on the research I've done on ACORN at Capital Research Center. (The author thanks me in her acknowledgements section.) ACORN is a corrupt-to-the-core radical advocacy group that survives by parasitically feeding on taxpayers' money. Much of the rest of its money comes from extortion and protection rackets that suck funding out of gutless corporations. Michelle Malkin understands the threat that ACORN and groups like it pose to the continuing viability of the Republic. Her book is a great public service. shines a light on the thug and chief -- voted into power by loosers chronically under achieving minorities guilty whites and homosexualls--atlas shrugged There are two types of reviews that I have learned to completely ignore on amazon and the first one is the one that starts off as, "first let me say that I am a conservative." Most people with a brain in their head wouldn't even start a review like that. First off conservatives are clear thinkers and they usually just want to give an objective review. If they don't like a book they simply say so and then give the reasons. Second, are the liberals and you can always tell a liberal because their reviews are never any shorter then 2500 words. I have a theory on this. They are so outraged and their little brains work so fast that they just can't say what they want in a couple of paragraphs. You can rest assure that you can ignore both of these types of reviews as they are from leftist head cases. Now with respect to Michelle's book, it is excellent book and my only criticism of it would be that much of this is covered in the book catastrophe by Dick Morris, so it tends to be a rehash of what we already know. Now with that being said the fact that so many of "the kings" people have had to decline their appointments is side splitting and ridiculous. This is not a question of morals, because the left have none. This is about the fact that people really need to wake up and be more involved. The left don't police themselves because they're mostly liars who have no scruples and the right cannot do it all by themselves. Society has to get involved to vote out this dirt bag of a "president" or this fool will get us all killed. I will also say that Michelle's book does clearly outline what some individuals will do to obtain power and she outlines the road that Obama has taken and will continue to take. I would suggest that after reading this book one might pick up,"The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich," by William Shirer. This is about Hitler's rise to power and what is utterly frightening is that it is happening again before our very eyes. Hitler's motto was, "Don't let a good crisis go to waste," and Obama and his ilk have taken Hitler's advice to a tee. I found myself a nervous wreck when I read "The Audacity of Hope" due to the paralells in Mein Kampf. Finally I would say that Obama and the left have wanted power over this country for a long time due to jealousy and their hate for morality and decency. Do any of you really think that Obama is going to give control back to someone else just because they have been voted in, just because they loose an election? Mark my words, this man is not going to take a defeat lying down and neither will the likes of Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid. They won't take it lying down no more then Hitler would have if Hindenburg tried to boot him out of his office. This book spells it out and shows the utter evil and corruption that this administration is capable of and will continue to pursue. I hope that by the 2012 elections that there is an America left.
