I gave the movie as a gift to my mother and she loved it. She especially enjoyed the movie because it was set in Italy.

I bought this DVD for a friend whose old video tape was wearing thin. I had seen the film but was delighted to see it again. Yes it is alike in feel to other films set in Italy in a different time, but it stands alone with yet another take on people from different yet seemingly similar backgrounds brought together for a short time.

This story has made me yearn for a vacation in Italy but not doing tours, a real vacation, relaxing at a Villa like in this movie! The story line was interesting and provocative. The acting was great. I highly recommed this to romantics.

OKAY. All I can say is this: This movie is just wonderful. All my favorite British performers in an exquisite rendition of this marvelous tale. PERFECT.

I agree with many of the reviews and will not comment on the plot here but just say the script, setting, filming, editing, and acting by great veteran British stars is superb! I too waited several years for this to come out on DVD as I had it on tape and laser disc. So happy it finally was released and thank Amazon for encouraging fans to pre-order so the manufacturer could be persuaded to release. It is probably just a "chick flick" to some but it certainly is the best one I've ever seen. I see it every six months just for the way this movie makes me feel - like dialing up my travel agent and booking a trip to Italy. The Villa is magic and the men and women characters so very rich and diverse thanks to excellent directing and acting. The emotional reactions you can experience in watching this film are uplifting and just the one for a gloomy day! Very few movies get five stars from me, if they do, they are usually British as they still are best at acting and telling a story in the most bewitching way! This is a "must have" movie as you will want to watch it over and over just for how it makes you feel. Don't miss it - it truly is quality too good not to own!!

This lovely, 1991 adaptation of Elizabeth Von Arnim's novel has a superb cast and a tone so mellow you can feel your pulse get slower. Josie Lawrence and Miranda Richardson play a pair of unhappily married women who rent an Italian villa for a month, sharing the rent with a crusty Englishwoman (Joan Plowright) and a lonely aristocrat (Polly Walker)...

Shall We Dance? Shall We Dance?

Reviews

This is a slightly long but utterly charming and often laugh-out-loud (and sometimes eyes-tear-up) film that was justifiably a massive hit in Japan. Unlike the horrible American remake, it's not driven primarily by star power, and it's not dumbed down or otherwise changed to otherwise appeal to us Americans. Any of us -- dancers or not -- should be able to relate to the movie themes of longing, hope, and fulfillment; we can relate to feeling trapped, to doing the right things for the wrong reasons (and vice versa), to worrying about how others perceive us, and to overcoming challenges when we finally figure what we've gotta do and why :). That may all sound a bit philosophical and boring, but don't be deceived. This movie has slapstick, funny lines, at least one crazy wig, a wacky bathroom scene not involving a congressman or illicit behavior, and much more. So do rent or buy this movie; you won't regret it!

After all the crap going on in the last year - makes you feel good again. Wonderful therapy.

Though it is a subtitled movie, it's easy to follow. The story is beautiful. This is the original of the remake done a few years ago by Jennifer Lopez and Richard Gere. Great easy to watch movie.

This film has already been reviewed, but I still wanted to add my 2c. The line "let the music flow", which is spoken at a very important point in the film is definitely going to help me improve my life. To me, it meant that we can ease up, be more open and communicate better if we go with the flow. I can't dance for nuts, and that might be one reason why I empathized with the main character. The other part which made a deep impact on me was a twist told in the end, about something which went wrong for one of the characters. Acknowledging that disaster made it easier for that person to get over it. The high ratings are completely justified!

Must see. Well, are you tired of your marriage life? Feel like mid-life crisis? Here is a movie to be enjjoyed.

Midnight Run [HD DVD] Midnight Run [HD DVD]

Reviews

Midnight Run is DeNiro's best movie as far as I'm concerned. It is really funny and also warm (!) Charles Grodin makes a perfect foil. Top rated.

You end up memorizing Midnight Run. The best lines are unmatched anywhere in cinema ("Is this gonna upset me?" "I think it's safe to say that.") The hilarious back-and-forth between DeNiro and Grodin is perfectly timed and natural & the rest of the cast is AMAZING: Yaphet Kotto, Joe Pantoliano, John Ashton, Dennis Farina...and the bumbling mob duo played by Richard Foronjy & Robert Miranda. Midnight Run can't help but make you feel great, and you'll wish they still made movies like this one.

This a very nice movie, and I got real good service from amazon they are the people to do bussws with Thank You.

Robert DeNiro...Charles Groden...priceless...funny comedy with Bobby being a bounty hunter, forget Dog the Bounty hunter and check Bobby out as one...if anything can go wrong it does go wrong...you will laugh.

One of the best fun movies of the 80's. I had the honor of driving Mr. Brest, the director, on this film. He also gave me a small part. I am the Amarillo Policeman that releases John Ashton's character. I send him on to Flagstaff. This is one you can watch over and over. We shot all over the country. New York, Chicago (train), in Arizona (Globe, Flagstaff, Clarkdale, etc), LA and Vegas. I had a great time helping make this film and you will have a great time watching it many, many times.

Suze Orman - The Laws of Money, The Lessons of Life Suze Orman - The Laws of Money, The Lessons of Life

Reviews

I like Orman a lot on her TV show, but this book helped me very little, and that was disappointing. Plenty of advice for those who have stocks or other investments or homes they can use to get out of debt, but little practical advice for those of us who have no investments and no real estate. I make less than $40,000 per year, with no investments to fall back on, no home to re-finance...I rent and live paycheck to paycheck with what might be seen as a small amount of debt, but I'm still drowning. The only practical advice I got from this was: Spend Less. Well duh. I suppose I should have spent less by not buying this book.

The main difference between this show and her previous shows is that "The laws of Money" is built on just that, universal truths that can hold up in any economy or environment, even unseen environments. Each truth or law is a piece of the puzzle and together can help you "Keep What You Have and Create What you Deserve." The laws that she will explain are 1. Truth Creates Money, Lies Destroy It. 2. Look at What You Have, Not at What You Had. 3. Do What is Right for You "Before" you do What is Right for Your Money. 4. Invest in The Known "Before" the Unknown. 5. Always Remember: Money Has no Power of Its Own. Two things this show is definitely not. First it is not an investment show however investment in people and your future is part of the show. Second it is not a show for those who already have money and want to know where to put it as apposed to what you feel comfortable with. Most of the samples are of people who over spend, or have been hit hard in their 401k's, and over extended credit. She shows a few formulas or guides as to what happens if you place your money in stock or pay off credit. There are no fancy schemes here just good common sense. It is good to have a show confirm what you probably already know. Suze will encourage you to act or not depending on your needs but in any event you can have a plan. I find some of here statements a little too deterministic in the fact that you are the result of your action. This may be true to an extent but I find her going a little overboard at times. The show has pretty useful advice with realistic numbers and some good internet sites to visit.

Suze just kills it in this presentation. I read the book before and thought it was good. Suze brings emotion into the equation, and this is very important to investing. Her advice is very simple, but as she says, "some of the things that are very simplistic, hold all the value in the world." I really like when Suze discussed Law # 5. It was very motivating, and her speech at this point was just flawless. I felt her passion. I think the DVD is good for people who invest and even people who want to learn how to be a public speaker. Suze has executive presence like no other. If you read the book and watch the dvd, you will be able to "keep what you have, and create what you deserve."

Reader, have you been turned off by the Stock Market and other investment vehicles? If your answer is Yes than you need to watch Susan Orman's Video, The Laws of Money, The Lessons of Life. Susan carefully outlines five key principles of keeping more of your hard earned cash. She emphathizes with her audience stating how life is more complicated than it was in previous generations. She relates how the CEO's of Enron and Worldcom have put fear into our lives. Also she cautions against putting too much trust in all the financial gurus on television and radio. Most of her talk is based on common sense. She advises her audience not to purchase what they cannot afford. She implores her audience to pay off credit card bills in full as paying the minimum can only lead to a false sense of security. based on an audience member's question regarding an IRA Rollover, Susan advises that any amount of money that you own is important. She further stresses the importance of NOT borrowing against a 401K. Furthermore, her apporach to evaluating your own investment portfolio is very sensible. Based on a simple one to five scale, she advises how much you need to sell of your current investment. She encourages avoiding an all or nothing approach. This can be refreshing to a disenchanted investor who just might be waiting for the market to return to the highs of the late 1990's.There is some wonderful insight in this video and that will appeal to most audiences especially beginners and those who are down on their luck. The common sense alone will wake you up from your doledrums.

I feel that by focusing her aim on 5 major "laws" of money, Suze Orman has created a reference that is timeless. It was wonderfully produced, and enjoyable to watch.

2007 Microsoft Office System Plain & Simple 2007 Microsoft Office System Plain & Simple

Reviews

The book is well organized and extremely easy to follow. The visuals are excellent and very helpful in following the learning as well as comparing to my own computer display.

Helped considerably in understanding all the new items. Illustrations were great. I keep the book beside the computer at all times. I'm in my 60's and found it's explanations extremely helpful since all I knew was 2003. I would recommend this book.

I thought the book was in excellent condition. It just wasn't what I expected. I wanted a book to help me with the Office System like how to use it. The cover makes it sound like it will be easy but it didn't help me to do things in Excel or Word like I wanted help with.

This reference book has not helped me figure out how to operate MS 07 any better than the built-in help provided by the software.

We have novice, basic, and intermediate users of Office 2007. This book is getting plenty of use by all levels of familiarity with the software. Would recommend buying it as a good use of company funds and effective training material.

Microsoft Office Visio 2007 Step by Step (Step By Step (Microsoft)) Microsoft Office Visio 2007 Step by Step (Step By Step (Microsoft))

Reviews

Despite the negative reviews of some others, I thought this book was more than satisfactory. I purchased it to do some training, and felt totally comfortable with the content and its presentation.

I had a good experience with one of the "Step by Step" books a few years ago, but this one was pretty disappointing. The text and exercises are helpful only at the most basic level. While I knew it was an introductory book, I did not realize just HOW basic it would be. If you've never seen Visio before, you may find it of some use, but it will be of absolutely no value as a desk reference after it's been read. In addition, it is supposed to be a paperback book with a CD that, in addition to practice files, includes an eBook version for the buyer's convenience. That makes a good selling point for this product, but it is misleading. Only 60% of the book is in hard copy, the remaining chapters are stored in individual PDF files on the accompanying CD along with the eBook (which also contains only 60% of the content). I did not expect or want to be tied to my desktop computer in order to read the last 40% of the book (a total of 4 chapters). Overall, Microsoft Visio 2007 Step by Step was poor choice and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I got this book after transitioning from Autosketch to Visio Pro due to integration with other software. I ordered this book after realizing that Visio is based on markedly different concepts than Autodesk products. This book is pretty much a clone of the material that is available for free at the Microsoft Visio website. Anyone who has dabbled with CAD programs before will know that drawing aids like Snap, Alignment and Guides are rudimentary tools, without which, you have no hope of creating even a simple drawing - Try looking up Snap in the index, it's not there. Instead, the authors think that they can teach you the program by giving you step by step instructions on a few sample applications. These sample applications only take you to the most basic of steps and then leave you on your own. Looking through the help menu will serve you way better.

Product was sent and shipped extremely fast. Great service and book was in excellent shape

I've had some luck with these guides in the past. They're decent overviews of basic functionality. There are exercises, but mostly I use them as references. I guess it's MSFT's version of the 'For Dummies' series. The thing about Visio is that much of the basic functionality is intuitive. It seems this book could have done a better job of showing why Visio is superior to other programs by digging into what Visio can do. There are too many gaps. Add to that the typos and at least one illustration that's been misplaced, and you get what feels like a very slipshod effort. I think there are bound to be a lot of folks who feel that way about this book. There have to be better resources out there, whether it's MSFT's Inside Out series or something else. If you've never touched Visio or you're just using it for school, this one may cut it. If you're using it for a few different applications at work and you're hoping for a good desk reference, look for something else!

I just loved this book. its outstanding. easy examples with simple guidance-made it more user friendly. i use the pdf format in office...when i need it. thanks for a well written book.... Highly recommended for any interested buyer.

The book is clear, concise, and to the point. I used it as my standard reference in my training and for all my training delegates. This book gives you fantastic and powerful tools that you need to develop a business model. It does not show you how business models work from a finance stand, rather lets you combine this and that of tools to develop the model, based on your requirements. I like it very much. Good job!

I am an intermediate Excel user. I was looking for a book that could be used as a quick reference. This book is the best book I have ever read. I learned a great deal about hidden capabilities of Microsoft Excel. If you work with excel a lot, especially for analyzing data, this is the book for you. Every chapter introduces a new excel technique. Explanations are straight forward and easy to understand. Included CD has all the examples, both solved and unsolved. I analyze a lot of data in my job everyday. Techniques I learned from this book help me everyday in getting my work done faster.

Kaplan GMAT 2010-2011 Premier with CD-ROM (Kaplan GMAT Premier Program (w/CD)) Kaplan GMAT 2010-2011 Premier with CD-ROM (Kaplan GMAT Premier Program (w/CD))

Reviews

Take what this book gives you at face value nothing more. I feel as if it tries too hard to do something simple. Just my opinion. GMAT test is completely doable without a test prep book.

Preparing for a graduate Exam needs good coverage of fundamental aspects and step by step guidance of each area of topic. If the book of 1000 pages cant have even 10 pages of worthwhile explanation, what good is it. Only due to lack of other publications, in the same price range students have no choice but buy KAPLAN( coz its under 50 bucks). The book has good questions overall but it does not really teach you the fundamentals. Its just a add-on practice(mostly you don't need it). Definitely NOT A BOOK TO START learning for GMAT. If you have 6 months time, read and understand Manhattan-GMAT or EZ-Solutions books. They have some decent coverage of maths fundamentals and Verbal exercises.(I am not advertising. But these books cover all aspects step by step. And it takes about 5 months to cover all topics.) Moreover the CD does not work in Windows 7 due to old version of driver used by the software. Advise is, (Manhattan GMAT OR EZSolutions) + Official GMAT(which has only questions-for practice).Don't expect the same questions as THE Official guide, but the level of complexity is around the same. All the Best.

This book is good .Qauntative techniques are good . They are well explained . But Verbal and Sentence correction you need to refer more books . but Overall this book quiet good at least to kick off

I used the Kaplan GMAT 2010-2011 Premier. I found it extremely helpful to have the practice tests online rather than only the traditional paper version tests. Being that I am used to the paper test, taking it online was a new challenge for me. By preparing me not only for the questions on the test but the style of the test, Kaplan's program I felt better prepared for the GMAT when I arrived for the test. I suggest using the Kaplan GMAT 2010-2011 Premier program to study for the GMAT; it prepared me for each section while giving me the practical testing experience.

This is exactly the same book as not only the previous edition, but also few more previous editions for the last few years. The only difference you'll find will be the cover page and some miniscule changes of a few words. If you have an older edition, there is absolutely no need to buy the new one. Of course, if you are out to buy a test prep book for the first time, it may make sense to buy the latest edition. But, be aware that even the older edition would give you the same stuff. I still don't understand why they have to come up with a new edition when there are no changes in the book. Anyhow, this is a nice book as it has everything packed in one book. You'll find all sections covered and also practice tests, which are not exactly like the real ones. It will give you a very good overall idea about each and every part of the GMAT, but it doesn't go below the surface of any topic. So, if you want more detailed knowledge about any specific area, you may have to refer to some other sources. This book also has a few typos in math, which is common in all math test prep books; however, what's shocking is that some of these typos have been carried forward edition after edition. If the editors can't change the content of the book, they should at least get rid of the misleading errors. If you are serious about getting a high score, I'd recommend doing the following: -Get the latest edition of OG, including quant/verbal. -Get the latest version of Kaplan and/or Barron's book as these are one of the best all-in-one review books. -For Verbal - Kaplan/PR Verbal Workbook, and Manhattan SC/RC if you want more practice with specific questions types. -For Quant - Kaplan/PR Math Workbook, and EZ Solutions GMAT math series if you want in-depth and thorough exposure to each match topic. With this, you will have all the tools you'll need to get a score without any additional help. If you simply want a general refresher in all areas, then the Kaplan book is more than sufficient, but if you want a more thorough review, consider the EZ Solutions GMAT math series as your ultimate standalone series of books. Thanks for reading this post and good luck on your test!

The book was more than I expected. Every household in the USA should have this book. I bought the book as "used". However, it appeared in new condition when I received it. What a great book. Hope you like it, too.

This book is very easy to read, written at about an 8th grade reading level. I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a way to build a solid financial foundation. I really enjoyed this book. For the first 7 years of my professional carrer I kind of stumbled through life doing what I thought you should do with your money but not really having any idea when. It's a big relief to have a road map for success rather than just HOPING. For those of you in serious financial peril, it gives you a road map for getting out. For those of you (like myself) who have been reasonabley responsible and don't have a lot of debt other than the house, it gives you some great tools for staying that way and then taking the next step towards wealth. I read this in about 2 weeks and enjoyed it the whole way. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because he doesnt offer to pay off your debt for you. Other than that, its a great first step in the right direction. RAMSEY FACT: Hard work and dicipline are the only full proof way to financial freedom.

This book is a great tool for anyone that is looking to change the way they think about personal finance. I regret that my business professors told us that debt is a useful tool and leveraging up can increase your return on investment, and that I actually bought into this hooey. Every wealthy person that I know does not have debt, this brought us to realize that we must do the same. This changed my life and it is worth every penny....it will change your life!

Dave is a the guy you want to read about and how he broke out of the traditional American debt model. His how to book is filled with antedotes, and the "uncommon" common sense. Dave practices what he preaches and has put his plan into an easy read. The rest is in your hands. Be different... live debt free.

Maria, I did not buy your book and opted instead for your competition in that you did not offer a look inside. In an information-centric world, when this option is so easy and frankly expected, it looks like you believe the product will not stand up to comparison.

I am quite disappointed. I was a Microsoft Money user--this book did not help me. I know I can modify a register. My question would be how to get to the register to modify it. I can't easily tell you that. (part of the problem just may be that Quicken is not as user friendly as Money). If I want to modify [something] and I'd like to know if it's on the account list, or the setup tab, or the peference icon --and it's just not easy to navigate. This book just didn't help in understanding quicken's organization. It seems to have been written by someone going over the program. For example, if on the screen is a transaction windows. The book essentially says: to add a new transaction click the "add" button (in a half a page); to delete a transaction, click the "delete" button (another half a page); to modify the transaction, click the "modify" button. If you modify a transaction, a register with 6 fields comes up (check #, date, description, amount, etc.). If you want to change the check number, click in the check number field and type in the new number. If you want to change the amount, click in the amount field and type the new number.... I am being a little harsh--because I'm very disappointed. True, the author occasionally does give little explanations of why you would want to do something. And it might help if you're in the section doing things as she explains them. But a read-through doesn't give you any great command of the program.

Very comprehensive. Well written. Good price, fast shipment. Very satisfied.

Very helpful, easy to read. It helps that Q 2010 is their best release yet.....

Overall this is a very good book to keep handy when working with Quicken. I use it when I get stuck on something. The book is easy to read and clearly written with examples of what is happening in the software. Because of the book I was able to figure out why my income totals were not what they should have been and fix the problem. I am still working on understanding the investment, mutual fund area but that is my fault not the books. The book is worth the purchase price, I highly recommend it to anyone.

QuickBooks Pro 2010 QuickBooks Pro 2010

Reviews

Great product for small businesses. You can't run a business without accounting software, and this is tried and true. I don't like accounting, but when I have to deal with it, QB works well, is easy to use, and make accountant like it to.

Along with other problems i had with the software, just received a notice that i need to upgrade from 2007 version to 2010 within 4 weeks, for $159.00 Wow what a great deal, i used the 2007 version for a year, purchased it at a full price, now i have to buy it again in order to continue running payroll servive. This is a rip off. I do not want to upgrade as i just now got used to the current version. Why do i have have to pay for something twice?? Therefore my advice is do not use quickbooks for your payroll, in another 3 years , you will have to buy it all over again

One thing I can't stand about Quickbooks and Quicken products is that weeks after installing the newest version you start getting reminders for the upgrade version. What's really damning is the "do not ask again" buttons don't do anything. Intuit does a fantastic job of reminding you how much you are dependent on them and pray for the day there is a good alternative. Damn you Intuit!

Anybody who runs Quickbooks knows that they are always attempting to get people to upgrade, every single year, for tiny benefits most of us will never use. I was running 2007 and the payroll service (which is a separate annual charge), and my business was forced to purchase the 2010 version to keep the payroll. I bought the disk against my will. Absolutely nothing in 2008 through 2010 inclusive seems at all useful to the accounting end of my business. In short, the diskette won't install on my computer, as it's networked to a larger system that prevents third party software from loading. Quickbooks wants to install a Flash player version I still don't believe I need. The first guy I spoke to at QB technical support told me that it was vital to have the Flash to run tutorials and some functions in the reports section. I don't need tutorials, and I can't believe I need a Flash player to run a report. (If I do, then there's something really, really wrong with the software architecture!) He tried to sell to me a service support plan, which I refused to consider, and then kept me on hold for 10 minutes to learn the work-around to install 2010 without the Flash player. I tried it. He was wrong. I called back, and again somebody tried to sell me the technical support package. I remarked that if I was forced to buy this upgrade I would not be very amenable to paying extra to install it. That person, for 25 minutes, attempted to load the software, by cheating around the network support filter, and failed. She told me that, yes, I could not install the program without allowing the version to load Flash. Now I have to get the IT guy involved, and he bills by the hour. All because I have a software program that needs more bells and whistles to install than I'll ever use or need. I would also bet that this software program, around Halloween, will automatically update itself to start to nag me about buying 1099s and W-2s and other forms for the end of year. Turning off those "services" never seems to work quite properly in preferences. If Quickbooks wants to make a sales call in front of your face, they're going to do it no matter how irrelevant it is to you, or how busy you may be. FOLLOW UP: It's not just a problem loading Flash. It goes beyond that. Once Flash was installed, there were still errors and issues, depending upon the service pack version you're running with XP. This was an issue with two separate installations (one in the office, one home). Ultimately it took an hour for the IT guy to get the program to load, and, again, it wasn't just the Flash player issue.

I ordered this product and discovered that the key was missing so I was unable to install it on my computer. I emailed the seller and received a reply the same day. The seller emailed me a postage paid return label and processed my full refund very quickly. I am pleased with this seller and I will not hesitate to do business with them again.

QB 2008 is a great piece of software. It is a great improvement over previous versions of the software. Their support department is very helpful as well. Well worth the price.

Setting up a basic business account for an old friend who I thought would be happier with an "older, simpler" version of the popular quick books. Great price and quick shipping. Very pleased with this purchase.

Happy to upgrade from 2006- product easy to navigate and primary reason for upgrade is integration with our website shopping cart from PDG.

Fast and easy to find. Exactly what I was looking for. Was shipped right out and to me in just a few days. Product was new and unopened. Loaded software with no problems and it is networking and functioning perfect.

I have owned exactly three versions of Quickbooks 2000, 2003, 2009. I put up with the payroll gouge that came with 2003. After the first year, I dropped it, only to find Intuit removed the ability to set up auto calculations for the fields fica and medicare. I could understand not allowing auto calc fields for state and federal tax field. Obviously Intuit wanted to make it difficult so that you would succumb to paying their yearly payroll gouge fee. After that, I swore I would never upgrade again, and just kept a desktop calculator handy for payroll calcs. In May of this year, my secretary and accountant bugged me enough until I agreed to try QB 2009 against my better judgment. I downloaded on my Vista platform office computer, (BIG mistake, I should have tried it on another computer first, moving my data over to it). Installing went fine, however, I bypassed the entire payroll setup screen, ("Would you like to setup payroll gouge service later?" YES!) Once the program opened up to the main screen, I clicked around a bit, looking at various accounts to see if balances appeared to be correct, so far, so good. I then clicked on the payroll button. Bam, "fatal exception occurred at....". Rebooting is only way out. Did it several time, no change, uninstalled, reinstalled twice, no change. Everything else works fine, reports, printing, changing entries, etc. But just one click on their sacred payroll button, computer locks, nothing will regain stability, can't open task manager, nothing. Only way out is forced shutdown by holding power button. I spent the next two hours reading on Intuit's website how hundreds of people are suffering from the same type of issue and have been for more than six months. You can't tell me Intuit doesn't know this will happen. They have such a thing as "product testing". How can a thing, like clicking a button that causes a fatal computer lockup, get past quality control? HOW?! The answer is: It didn't, it was designed that way. I believe unless you at least go through the motions of signing up for the short-term free payroll service, Intuit will not let you even TOUCH your payroll button. Okay, screw it, uninstall 2009, reinstall 2003, use backed up, uncorrupted data file, lesson learned. Nope, not so quick. QB 2009 did something that now prevents my going back to QB 2003, it will not open, no error message, nothing, just a quick flash of the opening screen, then nothing. Incredible, just incredible. Is this fraud? Should there be a class action suit filed? Is Intuit the worst company in corporate history? Decide for yourself, but I am moving to PeachTree.

My business has multiple layers and I found this product did not work well for my business. I hired two different Quickbooks experts to try to help me set up my books properly and each time I kept hearing that I would have to keep spreadsheets in addition to quickbooks to track the info I needed. My previous accounting program did not limit me in this way and provided the reporting I needed. I switched to Peachtree and can get the results I need. I found Quickbooks program easy to work with but limited in the ability to make adjustments for out the box situations.

Yes it is a great piece of software BUT their support policy is an added cost. NO SUPPORT is included with the purchase. Be very aware, Quickbooks has CHANGED their support policy. I have been a quickbooks users for many years. In the last version I purchased they allowed 1 free month of customer support. I was expanding our use of Quickbooks and knew I would have questions so I purchased the new version thinking I would have the same 1 month. NO WAY. They now require you first to supply your request online, get a case number, then call in only to be told they will not answer any support questions unless you purchase theiur $79.00 support plan for 1 month or they have even more expensive versions. If I had known this I would have stayed with our 2008 version of Quckbooks and just purchased the $79. Now I'm out the $237 and still will have to pay the $79.00

Ive been wanting to buy QuickBooks for a long time now and I have been constantly keeping an eye out for a good deal. I searched Ebay, Google, everywhere and Amazon was by far the best price. Even cheaper than buying directly from Intuit. I use PayPal as my merchant provider for my own internet air gun business, and now that I have PayPal and QuickBooks integrated with each other using SimplePort I don't know how I ever did without it. It paid for itself the first time I used it. I would highly recommend this software to any business not just small business.

It's a much needed software, with a lot of power. Amazon offered me a good price and shipping was immediate.

I have been advising business clients on small business accounting systems for over ten years. I recommend QuickBooks not because my income is somehow tied to Intuit, I recommend it because it is such a great and easy to use tool. QuickBooks makes the accounting for a small business easy to do and yields the management information a small business owner should want and use. And, it gets better every year. * The Document Manager is a great tool added in 2010. 'Attach' documents to transactions or list items in QuickBooks and have them 1)always at your fingertips, and 2)safe on an Intuit server. Access from anywhere you have an internet connection * I like my clients to customize their invoices and other forms so they set themselvesd apart from their competition. Great new tools in QB 2010 to use already created custom form templates and automatically use the same design across all forms like invoices, statements, credit memo's, etc. * More options for the Company Snapshot, a feature that more and more users will come to appreciate * And there's more. Favorites menu, Save and Stay, Email Marketing service to name just a few. I think QuickBooks 2010 is a great deal. It delivers a lot for the price.
