Peggy McColl helps clarify that "The Won Thing" needed to succeed - we already posess! We tend to enjoy our journey that much more when we can learn from each other and share our individual secrets. Thank you Peggy for sharing your extraordinary formula. Jackie Jones Author: G-Bugs, The Gratitude Bugs, "Sam Meets Caterpillar Kaleb".

I read many of these self-help / pop psychology books, and I usually read the reviews to help me sort through which ones to buy. So I figured I should probably start adding in my two sense to hopefully let other people know which books are the real deal when I am finished reading them. Although many of these "pop-psychology" books can be a bit too new-age/ hokey, this one is true to real-life and definitely a book you will want to highlight and return to day after day. It makes sense because it's simple and applicable to every-day life. It was not written by a doctor or a wanna bee guru. It was written by someone who has studied the field, had become successful and happy, and someone people can relate to. I was very impressed; Impressed enough that I felt I needed to take five minutes out of my busy day to write a review.

I just finished reading the book and I am rather disappointed by it. The first and lenghty part of the book describes the author's journey through other self-help concepts, how they worked or did not work for her. After stating that the reader should follow through this to be able to fully appreaciate and understand the "one secret" mentioned in the later parts of the book I did just that. So after a few hours of reading about the old concepts and theories I learned that the "one secret" is to use all the concepts mentioned before, not over-do it, find my own passion and strengths and live according to it. I have to appreciate the honesty of the author in stating that there is no easy solution and no "one secret". Some might perceive this message as new and motivating - I find it rather obvious and not the return on my investment (money and time) that I usually am looking for.

Are you kidding me? The "One" secret for a totally fulfilling life is actually a compilation of six items which include such ground-breaking ideas as "Be happy" and "Do unto others". There is absolutely NOTHING new in this book. It doesn't help either that the author's anecdotes about these "secrets" mostly include stories about aspiring authors whom she has counseled...unless you're planning on writing and marketing a new book, you're left rolling your eyes. Don't get me wrong---the author is totally sincere but the book is nothing more than common-sense ideas. Save your money and precious time and research some better choices.

The Won Thing: The "One" Secret to a Totally Fulfilling Life "The Won Thing" reminds that we have what is needed to create whatever we want, which includes the ideas to achieve and help others do the same. In acknowledging we all have ideas and great messages to share, Peggy and I always end up talking candidly about books and that "whole" creative process. She and I make an example of "The WON Thing" as that great message with its own built-in marketing strategy, discussing the wonderful opportunities for those who participate in spreading the message and expanding its potential. "It is a great realization, when the marketing strategy is the book's actual message -- in action," Peggy said. "The WON Thing" reminds that, when we adopt wise, progress-gaining strategies into the mosaic of life's "highs" and "lows", we are inclined to do and create actions that sustain ever-abundant and authentic joy, "spilling over" into your impact on others; when we share and "market" our experience.
